open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

I tried to install Telemac from the automatic installer but it doesn't work.
The installation of the pre-requisites works fine, but when it comes to the installataion to Telemac i cannot select the option "open Telemac-Mascaret" in the select components window (see picture attached).

If i click next, i've the following error :
C:\opentelemac-mascaret\svnrepositry.py n'est pas reconnu en tant que commande interne oui externe

(see message error attached)


I have tried to follow the instructions given here :

but it does not work either

This could be caused by numerous reasons, some of them:

• Each time you try to install Telemac use the complete automatic installer, not the ones extracted in the opentelemac-mascaret folder, you will have a couple of python scripts missing otherwise
• Other installations of python are being executed instead the located on "c:\opentelemac-mascaret\", which could be corrected adding opentelemac python folder to the system PATH variable manually. In the installation process should breifly appear a Python-cmd window a couple of times, the title should be the python executable located in the telemac folder.
• There is an association problem with the python scripts, even if you manually associate the files to python telemac executable, there are still issues with the registry that must be taken care of.
• Check if you are behind a proxy, you must configure your SVN client first (Tortoise SVN has an option under the "Network" settings) before the installation of Telemac.

I uninstalled all the files installed by the automatic installer, and I re-installed them. I had a problem with a svn file locked so I made a svn clean up. Eveything went right afterwards.

Please also set a default application PYTHON to all files with *.py

In my case it helped a lot.
