open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

Hello everyone!

I am currently writing my master's thesis, in which I am using Telemac among other things. Here I want to calculate the hydraulic conditions of a nature-like fishway. The model has already been completed by another student, but now the cas-file has to be adjusted and improved.
Unfortunately I have little experience with Telemac and I am a bit unsure about the choice of different schemes and parameter values (e.g. COEFFICIENT FOR HORIZONTAL or VERTICAL DIFFUSION OF VELOCITIES). Unfortunately I have not found a comparable work in the literature that could help me in this respect.
Do you have any literature or any helpful hints that could help me in my understanding? The user manual is already very helpful, but unfortunately not sufficient for me. I hope you can help me with this, it would be a great help for me.
