I get this error:
utils.exceptions.TelemacException: In ..\..\examples\telemac3d\tide\t3d_tide-jmj_type.cas missing file for FORTRAN FILE: user_fortran

How can I resolve this issue?

Are you sure you're running the simulation from de right place (in the example directory)?

This is the path in CMD window that I used:

C:\TELEMAC\V8P4\scripts\python3>telemac3d.py ..\..\examples\telemac3d\malpasset\t3d_malpasset-fine_p2.cas

So:
-Read the Manual to learn how to run Telemac!
-The command should be executed from the directory where the steering file is

After successfully running the example file, I got this error with running my own project:

Aborting: mpi appplication on GORAN is unable to connect to the smpd manager on (null):954b1a65-e880-4eed-bb6c-e993847a9730 error 1717

job aborted:
[ranks] message

[0] fatal error
Fatal error in MPI_Init: Other MPI error, error stack:
MPI_Init(argc_p=0x0000000000000000, argv_p=0x0000000000000000) failed
The interface is unknown. (errno 1717)

Any ideas on how to resolve this issue?

Hello Goran,

When I read "Aborting: mpi appplication on GORAN is unable to connect to the smpd manager", it is not a TELEMAC error but I would say your installation of MPI is suspicious.

You should investigate this. You can also proceed step by step (using the same input files of one example which works and use your steering file, perhaps lightly modified ; using your geometry file + boundary conditions file with a steering file from an example which works) to see what works in your own project and what does not work.
