Hi,

When running a model with the last version of the Telemac (V8P5) I noticed the following message in the listing:
UNKNOWN OPTION IN MURD3D_POS: 4
OPTION 1 TAKEN INSTEAD
FOR THE KEYWORD:
SCHEME OPTION FOR ADVECTION OF TRACERS
AVAILABLE OPTIONS: 1 AND 2

I first tried with the recommended value of the manual (=4), then I tried with 1 and 2 and still I got the same message. Is it a bug?

Hello Cristian,

Can you provide your steering file please?

You seem to use choice 13 or 14 for at least one of the keywords SCHEME FOR ADVECTION OF VELOCITIES, SCHEME FOR ADVECTION OF K-EPSILON or SCHEME FOR ADVECTION OF TRACERS.
With choice 13 or 14, the associated keyword SCHEME OPTION FOR ADVECTION OF VELOCITIES/TRACERS/K-EPSILON could not be different from 1 or 2 (hence the error message, but it is wrong if you use the 13 or 14 scheme for velocities or k-epsilon).

The recommended and default value for SCHEME OPTION FOR ADVECTION OF... = 4 is OK if you use SCHEME FOR ADVECTION OF... = 5 to get LIPS.

So, if you use SCHEME FOR ADVECTION OF... = 13 or 14 for one or several variables, use SCHEME OPTION FOR ADVECTION OF... = 1 or 2 for the same variables.

That's exactly the case. I'm using:
SCHEME FOR ADVECTION OF VELOCITIES = 13
SCHEME FOR ADVECTION OF K-EPSILON = 5
SCHEME FOR ADVECTION OF TRACERS = 5
SCHEME OPTION FOR ADVECTION OF VELOCITIES = 4
SCHEME OPTION FOR ADVECTION OF K-EPSILON = 4

OK, in that case, using SCHEME OPTION FOR ADVECTION OF VELOCITIES = 1 or 2 should skip the error.
