Hi all!
Recently I was reading python files in script and noticed that a python script can directly take the temperature, salinity, and flow rate equivalents of a specified area for a specified period of time from the website and process them into slf files.
Now I want to read the values in this file in t3d and use them in the calculation, but I don't know how to do it, and I can't find the information by looking in the forums and user manuals. I am happy to provide slf files if needed leave me another way (too big to upload directly into the layout).
I really hope someone can give me some advice and help!
Best regard!

Hello Xinjie,

You can have a look at the PROSOU subroutine in $HOMETEL/sources/telemac2d folder, in particular with the COUROU condition.
It is an example how to read a BINARY DATA FILE 1 (or more generally a binary file with format known by TELEMAC).

Hope this helps,

Chi-Tuan

Hi Chi-Tuan
Thanks for your suggestion, I guess you want to tell me a 2d example to read binary boundary files, but it is still a big test for me to apply it in 3d, but I will continue to learn. And if you have time, could you help me to see how I can solve this problem?
