open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

Greetings openTELEMAC users,

After years of quiet development, the openTELEMAC group is excited to introduce the long-awaited and overdue TELEMAC-4D module! At last, the elusive 4^th spatial dimension can be modelled with only a touch more computational complexity than TELEMAC-3D.

Example cases provided with TELEMAC-4D include the reversing falls of St John at the Bay of Fundy, pressure flow through Klein culverts, gravitational wave propagation using TOMAWAC, hyperspheric sediment transport using GAIA, and April fish dynamics (for Francophone users only). A new Virtual Reality (VR) pre- and post-processor is also under development to manage the hyperpyramid mesh generation step.

However, as the TELEMAC-4D module is still in development, the beta release is only available today, Monday, April 1^st, 2024. Act fast to download your copy from the repo!
