Hi!

I am struggling to open a steering file with fudaa.
The steering file, attached, contains keywords for tracer definition.

I get error message and the project can't be opened if I let the following keywords in my file:

NUMBER OF TRACERS =1
WATER DISCHARGE OF SOURCES =0.
VALUES OF THE TRACERS AT THE SOURCES =0.
COEFFICIENT FOR DIFFUSION OF TRACERS =0.1

If these keywords are commented out, then fudaa can open my steering file. Is that normal?? I never used fudaa with tracers by the past. The problem occurs when selecting both v6p2 and v6p3 dico files.

I also get an error if i let in my file the keyword EQUATIONS = 'SAINT-VENANT FE'. I get "The value SAINT-VENANT EF is not valid". This problem only occurs when selecting the v6p3 dico file. It works fine with v6p2.

Any suggestions? If that's bugs, can it be corrected in a next release?

Thanks in advance!
PL

Hello,

This is a limited answer, on the second point only:

I cannot find a version where EQUATIONS = 'SAINT-VENANT FE' has been accepted, 'SAINT-VENANT EF' is given in the dictionaries as default values in the French and English version, and in telemac2d.f 'SAINT-VENANT FE' is not accepted, so there is a misunderstanding somewhere here, unless a documentation says that FE is possible, or unless a specific treatment was done in Fudaa.

With best regards,

Jean-Michel Hervouet

Hi Jean-Michel,

Sorry, I typed it badly, I of course do have 'SAINT-VENANT EF' for the value of EQUATIONS (see my steering file).
I did the checks in the dico files and I guess it is a bug in fudaa since 'SAINT-VENANT EF' is accepted when using dico version 6.2 and older...

An alternative would be to remove the keyword from the steering file, since SAINT-VENANT EF is the default value. But that's not so clean... ;)
