We're looking to apply the Khione ice module as part of a microplastics transport project, and were wondering if it would be possible to define the ice type and thickness using an external file, as opposed to calculating it? We have good spatial data on ice coverage, and so are hoping to just use that in combination with Khinoe to impact the hydrodynamics.

Looking through the source, it seems like source_hydro_icover.f is the key file for calculating the hydrodynamics impacts. Would it be the case of adding a line reading in the type/ thickness for each cell from a SLF file at the beginning of this file? Thanks in advance, and hopefully this work can contribute back to project as a new feature via a PR once I get it working!
