Is there a documentation/description for the Nestor module, other than the examples? I find no mention of Nestor in the sisyphe latex user guide.

Does it have to be coupled with sisyphe, or is it standalone?

To the best of my knowledge, the only description of the Nestor module is given in the examples.
This module must be coupled to Sisyphe.

As I understand, it can be used as to define sources for plume dispersion modelling. Can you confirm?

Nestor is capable to change the elevation of the bottom while simulation.
You are able to add in a certain time a certain amount of a certain (fine) material to the bottom (the bottom will elevate) .
Afterwards (or instantaneous) the material could be washed away.
