open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

I hvae built a small model from scratch. However, when I try to run it I get an error message in python....see attached screen dump. There appears to be no documenation on this error I can find??? Anyone got any clues.

Its version 2.7.3 so should be well up to date I think?

I am still trying to work out what this problem is and getting nowhere. As far as I can tell the cas file has all thats required to run a model....I am not a python expert so am somewhat stuck if I cannot unravel what this error is.....

This appear to be an error with your CAS file. Maybe a keyword with no values or the wrong settings -- Can you share this file with us ?

thanks for your response. Just as a matter of curiosity why is such an error not trapped and explained? In all the apps I have written over the last 35 years,including at least two complete 2D modelling systems which have similarities to this one, I have always included error trapping, associated messages and pointed to somewhere in a manual to help the user sort things out. I do feel Telemac front end needs an update!! Anyway here is the cas file - if you can spot something that would be great thanks.

I have checed -- your CAS file is fine.

The next file in line is supposed to be your DICO file. I assume you have not modified it, in which case it could be something wrong with the whole of your TELEMAC installation.

Can you explain how / where you got TELEMAC and how it got installed ?
(there is a new automatic installer available for trial on this Forum, if you wish to try.

I obtained it through the Telemac Mascaret website in the normal way ie through the repository, I have the Gfortran compiler. I have BlueKenue and have successfully rerun several of thevalidation cases in order to check that the installtion is correct. So I don't believe that is an issue. I can see results Ok from the rerun validation cases in BK fine. Please can you explain what the dico file function is? I do not see a need to reinstall it works! thanks!
