open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

Dear All,

I am trying to develop python code for the optimization of weir height, so I am thinking in using the optimization tools provided by telemac TelApy.

I am following the examples on theGenetic Algorithm and Deterministic Algorithm

In these examples, the objective function is the error between observations and the set of variables are/is the friction coefficient (CHESTR) in one polygon.

Is it possible to use BOTTOMELEVATION instead, in various polygons rather than only one. Also my objective function is defined by a power generation function.

Inspite of the optimization tools, I still do not understand completely the tool "StudyTelemac2D". I have tried to find some information in the user manuals and online but not succeeded.

Does anyone can provide some insights or guide me into some documentation to understand it better?

The class StudyTelemac2d is available in the following file :

$HOMETEL/scripts/python3/telapy/tools/study_t2d.py

In addition, you can have a look at this paper (doi.org/10.1016/j.envsoft.2021.105243) where some information can be found.
