open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

Hello Telemac2d+Waqtel users;
I want to know if Telemac2d allows simulation of BOD parameters? If not, what can I do with open source Waqtel to simulate this value? Thank you very much for your support.

Thank you for the information. I simulate V8p4 with O2 and EUTRO modules. The simulation gives positive results, however I am interested in the BOD criterion, Can you please help me with methods that can be derived from simulations already available (for example) in WAQTEL? Thank you in advance.

What do you mean by "BOD criterion"?
You can see what is implemented for O2 and EUTRO in $HOMETEL/sources/waqtel directory, in files:
- calcs2d_o2.f
- calcs2d_eutro.f
- calcs3d_o2.f
- calcs3d_eutro.f

Thank you very much for your prompt response.The definition of BOD criteria, according to Wikipedia, is considered:
"Biochemical Oxygen Demand (also known as BOD or biological oxygen demand) is an analytical parameter representing the amount of dissolved oxygen (DO) consumed by aerobic bacteria growing on the organic material present in a water sample at a specific temperature over a specific time period" (Wikipedia).
I would like to use Telemac2d+Delwaq to simulate this variable in my problem. Thanks you in advance for your help.

I think I have understood BOD, but not what you mean by "criteria" (and still do not understand).
What do you want to use, WAQTEL or DELWAQ? I am sorry but I am confused.

Anyway, reading the WAQTEL theory guide, I can see that dissolved oxygen is one variable modelled by EUTRO and O2 modules. What do you want more?

Sorry I was wrong. I want to use Telemac+Waqtel to simulate BOD. The reason I was wrong is because I know that in Delft software they have an example of BOD simulation, used with the Delwaq module (similarly in the Mike model there is also an application to simulate BOD with the Ecolab module). So I thought maybe there is a similar simulation in Telemac. However in the Waqtel examples I have not seen it (only waq2d_O2 or waq2d_Eutro). That's why I have the question mentioned at the beginning.
