open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

HI everyone,

I would like to install Linux Mint VM appliance (MintHyfo.ova), and it is said "email Sebastian" to get the .ova, clicking on the link, it leads nowhere.
Please can I have the email of this Sebastian or can I have an other way to download it (minthyfo vm).

Somewhere down, chapter "About the Mint Hyfo VM" there is an e-mail contact. Depending on the browser maybe you have to resolve the link manually.

Out of curiosity, why this hard way of installing and using Telemac? One makes himself / herself dependent on certain configurations, unless you are working in a cluster environment.
Telemac runs on every Linux as well as MS Windows platform. Telemac per se can be installed as a closed environment without touching your OS.

After perfectly installing and running telemac on my laptop with linux Ubuntu 18.04 lts (failing in MS windows 8.1), I attempted to do the same on 2 other laptops and.... after "succesfully installed ( config.py said my work is done) I failed when running examples, most of time for acces denied over some modules. The OS were Linux Mint (2 diff version), Ubuntu 21.10. As I didn't install those versions, I said to myself it can be either the installation process of the OS, or the distro/version of the OS ... That's why I am testing different ways for installing and running Telemac on virtual machine for diff Distros (Mint, Debian, Ubuntu),before disturbing you on this forum... Or not...

Just in case that still matters: I update this VM application approximately once per year, and need to re-generate a download link for it. The currently valid link is: bwsyncandshare.kit.edu/s/Cx2cwsZHnpQdoTt

It should be clear that this VM is just a rudimentary appliance for educational purposes, and I avoid putting a permanently stable link on hydro-informatics.com/get-started/install-telemac.html to avoid any implications for anyone trying to use this commercially.
