open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

Hello telemac community,

I recently compiled the v8p4 linux version on my windows 10 computer through use of WSL without any parallelization options. The compilation appeared to work and ended with 'My Work is done', but when I try to run any of the examples, I get an error that stops the computation. For example, when I try to run the telemac2d example 'bridge' I get the attached error message.

I've tried looking for previous solutions but I am not finding anything that works for me.

Does anyone have a suggestion to try?

Hello Martin,

It may be a problem related to the retrieval of the binary files.
When compiling TELEMAC the selafin file are versioned with Git LFS to lighten the clone of the depository.
Can you verify that you have git LFS with "git lfs -v"?
If not install it (see your Linux packages or git lfs website) and then you just have to use "git lfs install" (you only need to do it once to set up git LFS for your user account).
And, finally in your TELEMAC repository use "git lfs pull" to retrieve the missing files.

This fixed the issue for me, thanks! I installed Git LFS through the packagecloud repository and then used the command you suggested. The examples now work, thanks!
