Hello,

when launching a Telemac-2D simulation at our cluster I get the following error. It seems that the error comes when Telemac-2D tries to read the friction coefficients in the geometry file.

INBIEF (BIEF): NOT A VECTOR MACHINE (ACCORDING TO YOUR DATA)

a non-zero exit code.. Per user-direction, the job has been aborted.

mpiexec detected that one or more processes exited with non-zero status, thus causing
the job to be terminated. The first process to do so was:

Process name: [[48869,1],9]
Exit code: 2

For any help I would be very glad.

To clarify: it seems that the geometry file has a wrong format.
It doesn't depend whether fricition coefficients are provided in the geometry file or not.

Hi,

What compiler are you using ?
There is a known bug with intel 15.

Hello,

the mistake was simply a typing error in the config file.
Now it works.

Hi,

I'm also using Intel 15 to compile the source code and it indeed gives the same error like this. What is the reason for this bug? Is there anyone who has solved this?

So far we have no information on that bug as we are not able to reproduce it outside of telemac. But we are working on it.
It does work with intel 14 however.

Hope it helps.

Hi Qilong,

to explain our mistake:
for the Intel compiler wrongly we used the option "-fconvert=big-endian" instead of "-convert big_endian".
However this mistake will maybe not your case.

Thank you for explaining this to me!
I'll try previous version of Intel compiler.
