Dear all,

Currently, I try to make a sediment transport simulation with Sisyphe. And I also find the most similar example which is River-arc and Yen. For both cases, I want to change the river bed elevations and the sediment distributions (several types of sediments, for example 0.9mm in one areas and 1.2 in another areas of the river) in there. I try it many times and I also read the manual of BlueKenue. There is also no solution for it.

This problem is bothered me for many days and I am really appreate if who could help me.

Best reagerds,

Harryyao

Another thing is what the meaning of reference file ? Take the river-arc in sisyphe for exaple, there file named `fis_river-arc.slf` is the reference file.

Many thanks in advance.

Hello,

On the reference file: it is the result of a previous computation, the current run will give the difference between your current results and this file. This is used to check the influence of a parameter or to check that no bug has been added in a new version (provided that the reference file has been updated...).

Many thanks Jean-Michel Hervouet for the explanation about the reference file.

I am still looking for the answer of the sediment distribution.

Dear Jean-Michel Hervouet, So if I remove the reference file, the calculation result would not affect by that. is it right ?

Hello,

Yes sure, just put VALIDATION = NO and you can remove the reference file.

thanks Jean, it seems works, But when I running the examples in the SISYPHE, all the calculation time is equal to zero. that makes me confuse. I don't know why.

I almost running all the examples inside the SISYPHE

My calculation steps is as follows:

first, run the telemac2d codes, 'runcode.py telemac2d -s t2d_canal-t2d.cas'
in this step the calculation need several time.

Then 'runcode.py sisyphe -s sis_canal-t2d.cas'

this part the calculation time is always 0.

I mean even without moving the reference file, the result is the same. the calculation time for SISYPHE is equal to 0.

Hello,

This is normal, you only do one time step, so certainly in less than 1 second, so the listing says 0. You can now ask for more time steps.
