I have coupled Telemac2d with Sisyphe. I have constant values of total suspended sediment in (g/lt) for two inlet boundaries. Please let me know the keywords in Sisyphe in which the values are asigned.

KEYWORDS:

1. Concentration per class at boundaries:

OR

2. Prescribed solid discharges:

Thanking you in anticipation

Dear Subhasri,
you should use the keyword CONCENTRATION PER CLASS AT BOUNDARIES. Please be careful as the values must be expressed in volume concentration.

Best wishes,

Pablo

plz let me know that if I have the value of total suspended sediment concentration for one boundary is 16 g/lt, then what will be the volume of concentration?

Am I right or not to convert the mass concentration into volume concentration:

Mass concentration = 10 g/lt
density of sediment = 2.65 g/cm3

volume concentration = mass concentration/density = 10/2.65 = 3.77 cm3/lt = .00377

Now I have to use this value (0.00377) at the keyword "concentration per class at the boundary" for the suitable inlet boundary.

I will proceed after getting confirmation of this convertion.

If I tick the keyword "mass concentration", then I will use the mass concentration (16g/lt) for the keyword " concentration per class at boundary"

and

If I untick the keyword "mass concentration", then I will use the volume concentration (0.00377) for the keyword " concentration per class at boundary"

plz reply me so that I can process at the earliest.

No, the boundary condition always requires volumetric concentrations. The keyword 'mass concentration' only changes the units o the output.
0.00377 is correct for 10 g/l.

The value of volume of concentration is a dimensionless number. Plz let me know that the above conversion from mass concentration to volume concentration is right or not.
thanking you
