open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

Hello guys,
I read the forum thoroughly, because I figure you got tired of answering the same questions over and over again, but I couldn't find the solution for my problem.
So I used automatic installer, version v7p0. I followed the instructions of mister José Andrés Morales and it was all fine until I had to do SVN Checkout. I always get the error attached. I'm not behind proxy, I tried to unable every possible firewall and antivirus. I tried doing it other way around described at wiki.opentelemac.org/doku.php?id=instruc...c_installation...but that didn't work either.
So now I have everything needed in my opentelemac-mascaret folder on C:, but my v7p0 folder is empty and I can't proceed.
Could you please help if you know something I could try. Thank you!

The problem you encountered is related to a wrong path in the checkout
There is no directory v7p0 on the svn repository, only v7p0r0 or v7p0r1.
In the wiki, you have the description for v7p2 which point to v7p2r2
As you're a newcomer i would advise to use the latest version which is v7p3 so the path will be v7p3r1...

Thank you very much for the fast answer. I managed to make that step now, so Telemac is compiling as I'm writing this. About the version, yeah it would be smart to start with the latest version but when I was downloading the automatic installer on the download page, I saw the v7p0 and other were v6 so I thought it was the latest. I probably didn't search long enough.
The set up should be ok now, could you please point me in the direction of best tutorials to start using it correctly. I figure it was written on the forum numerous times for newcomers like me. Thank you for your help.

Baxter tutorial is a good option
There is also the validation test case...

I downloaded the baxter tutorial, it was somewhat helpful.
The thing is, it so hard to wrap my head around the workflow of this softwares.
For someone that didn't have experience with open source programs it's hard to see the connection with FUDAA or Blue Kenue, ArtGIS etc. and Telemac programs. User manuals go in depth with equations and line of codes, and forum topics deal with specific problems from experienced engineers. If there is a topic that I missed, or some tutorial about workflow for beginners, I would be most greatful for a link.
At the moment, I am most interested in breakwater design. I designed a few simple ones before "manually" with help of literature and I would like to learn how to use numerical models.

To start I advise to only works with BlueKenue and Telemac programs.
In BK you build your mesh and give the boundary condition file and after computation you could visualize your results.
Telemac programs made the computation with a steering file which should be created with a text editor. To start building steering file you could use one of the numerous steering file available in the example (take one similar to your subject of interest) and of course the documentation where the reference part give the list of all the existing keywords with a description...

Otherwise, you could follow an initial training

But I got a similar problem like the person u have solved the issue but not the same.

I tried with other versions like v7p2r2 and v7p0r2 and the same problem arises
