Hi,

This seems like a dorky question, but how do compile the bief library. I changed the maktel.bat so it would only run makefile.gfo but I get a fatal error U1052 cfgmak.mak not found.

Thanks

No answer yet, one says it is due to nmake (which is renamed in gfortran case gfomake.exe). cfgmak.mak is in the bin directory so it should be found. So I asked for extra advice. JMH

Thanks,

this is the image capture of the dos screen when it tries to compile. I hope this helps.

The file cfgmak.mak should appear in your directory config, the one with file systel.ini stating that you choose gfortran. It is created by the command cfgmak run in this directory. Before running this command, you must make sure that variable SYSTELCFG points towards this directory (see paragraph 3 of the installation guide). Otherwise the file cfgmak.mak will be copied elsewhere.

Since the cfgmak.mak is not recognised - is it possible that you did not define the environment variable:

export SYSTELCFG=/home/chunwang/TELEMAC/config

Please let us know,

Hi,

The cfgmak.mak appears in the config directory. I have a question to ask you systelcfg. On page 3, of the installation guide, it mentions that $systelcfg is for linux.

export SYSTELCFG=/home/user/TELEMAC/configlinux

Is there something different I have to do for windows.

I have the path specified for the config directory and the bin directory.

I also attached the systel.ini file, just to make sure everything is alright and I am not missing anything.

Thanks.

Yes basically it is the same on Windows, it is just that we give the example on Linux in the documentation. You must have this variable SYSTELCFG set. For example it will be used as path to this file cfgmak.mak. There may be small differences in the syntax due to Windows.
