Hi,

I'm installing Telemac on a windows7 system 64bit with intel fortan and perl.
The compilation has succeeded.
When I checked a simulation in scalar mode all is good.
When I checked a simulation in parallel mode I have an error launching MPI (see my window control in attachement).

Does somebody know how to solve this problem?

Dear Nicolas,

Sorry, but the listing file is not very helpful.

What happened after launching mpiexec ? Error message, how did Telemac stop ?
Any information in the TMP directory : are the PE00...LOG files empty ?

After launching mpiexec it seems to run but nothing happens. I have stopped the simulation with Ctrl+C afer waiting few minutes... So I have not other error message.
In the tempory file I have not PE00...LOG files, I just have T2DCLI... and T2DGEO... files.

You wrote : "it seems to run".
Can you verify (in the task manager) if any executables are indeed running?
Same behaviour with 2 processors ?

I suppose that the no files are on a remote device ?
And if you launch manually "mpiexec -localonly 4 out2908_win64.exe" from the TMP directory ?

mpiexec.exe*32, out ****_win64.exe and perl.exe are running.
It is the same behaviour with 2 processors.
All the files are on a local disk.
If I launch manually mpiexec -localonly 4 out2908_win64.exe from the TMP directory the console answer "Please specify an authentication passphrase for smpd:" but I can't write on the console, nothing happens when I'm typing on a keyboard...

Hi,

Ok, you must register your Windows username and password with wmpiregister.exe.
This tool is provided with the Intel MPI library, you can run the start + run menu.

I have register Windows username and password with wmpiregister.exe.
I have also reinstalled MPICH2 64.
When I run a simulation I have a new error (see my window control in attachement)

Hi
It look likes a wrong installation of MPI
Probably a problem of rights.
Try to install it from a command windows with admin righs

the localony option should avoid problems with computer name ...

Hope this helps

Yes it comes from MPI installation.
I founded the error : it lacked the link between the host and MPI (passphrase of MPI).
