Actually for Tomawac it seems an error in the parameter file, try in scalar mode and you'll probably have the same mistake.

Hello,

You were right I had a problem with the keyword for parallel mode...
But I changed it and run my model in scalar mode, and it worked .
Unfortunatly I still get the same kind of message when I try in parallel mode [ie: 'PARALLEL PROCESSORS=4'].

Hi all,

I am also trying to install mpi on W7 64bit.
I have read these messages and followed the steps listed by Tony in another topic (see message 6051).

I got the "Success" message after running mpiexec -validate, and mpiexec -status returned the right host name.

However, the computation does not start (see attached log).
Any ideas??

I also mention that I have MPI-RT installed on my computer (this came when installing another program). I did change the name of the "mpiexec.exe" file as well as the Path variable to it so that the computer cannot run it. Is it sufficient? Can it be the cause of the problem?

Hi,

In the V6P2 the python does not handle errors information pretty well.
It has been improved.
So could you launch the mpiexec command from the temporary folder and give me the output.
@Rémi: could you give me a text file instead of a screenshot, it contains more info and is easier to check

Please note that the mpiexec is launched with "-n 1" whereas I have PARALLEL PROCESSORS = 4 in my steering file...
