Hi everyone,

I'm fairly new to telemac, and in need of some advice with regards to boundary forcing.

I have set up a 3D model which is currently running with TPXO tidal forcing. I have some some current data from a global model, and would like to add the influence of these residual currents at my boundaries. However, since this global model doesn't include tides, I would like to keep the TPXO forcing as well (or combine the two somehow).

From looking through the user guides, I cannot see an obvious way to go about this.
Has anyone tried anything similar before, or able to offer some advice?

Thank you for your help,
Jenny

Hello,

A solution is to implement what you want in the BORD3D subroutine or the TIDAL_MODEL_T3D subroutine to add the tidal currents and the oceanic currents.

Hope this helps,
