Good morning,

we are developing a case study about the water quality patterns close to the a waste-water release from a pipe diffuser at about 2 km from the coastline.
We want to couple TEL3D, setting tracer source (characterized by a certain discharge and velocity) inside the liquid domain, with DELWAQ. We add, in the tel3d cas file, all the keywords needed for the generation of *.dwq and *.hyd files to be used in DELWAQ, but TEL3D crashes.
If we remove the generation of velocity.dwq and diffusion.dwq files, the program runs.
Does anybody experience this issue? Is this a bug of the TEL4DEL module? How (IF) could I solve it?

Could you give more details about the crash itself?
Maybe could you check if it works with the delwaq example available in the installation.

Yes, the examples work both for tel2d and tel3d.
The crash occurs during the run of TEL4DEL routine, it seems that is not able to write the files.
If I comment the file keywords VELOCIty and diffusivity for delwaq (as false), it works.

Hello,

I seem to remember that there was a bug for some time in a previous version, which version do you use. Another useful information would be to try the test case called delwaq, to see if it works with your version. Otherwise we would need the case to see what happens.
