Hello,

I would like to simulate particle exchanges between one tracer (T1) and bottom sediments (T2) with TELEMAC3D (v6p3). The flow is driven by wind and k-epsilon turbulence model is used. The solution array for T2 should be zero for all layers but the first one (bottom), and for this sediment tracer there should be no effect of convection/diffusion, so the options :

SCHEMA POUR LA CONVECTION DES TRACEURS : 14;0
SCHEMA POUR LA DIFFUSION DES TRACEURS : 1;0

are set. In SOURCE_TRAC.f, S0TA and S1TA arrays have non-zero values for layer 1, and are forced to zero in upper layers (i.e., exchanges only at the bottom layer). Unfortunately, some vertical (at least) diffusion is occurring in the simulation for T2, i.e. not only the deepest layer but also the upper ones have non-zero values, which is not what I want.

How come this occurred in spite of the no-diffusion option set in the .cas file? Is there any conflict with the k-epsilon model?...
Alternatively, how can I be ensured that the viscosity array VISCTA% remains zero throughout the simulation, while explicit and implicit source terms are at work in SOURCE_TRAC.f?

Thank you for your help,
JBS.
