Good Day!

I am a student and currently doing a research on perforated pile breakwater. I have the lab data of waves transmission through porous vertical cylinders at different porosity values, wave heights and wave period. I need to model the wave through the porous media and look into how these waves move through this cylinder gets dissipated and attenuated on the leewards side.

I was wondering if Artemis can perform this solution? ( Because I did ask about other software, they say their software cannot perform this solution.)

Thanks for helping me! appreciate a lot !

Dear Angie,

unfortunately Artemis cannot perform this solution for the moment. The developpment of transmission through submersible or porous obstacles has been in our mind for some time but is still not added in the latest version of the code.

Best regards,

Elodie
