The next alpha created after (or perhaps on) today (21 May 2024) should have this functionality restored.

There are also 2 small improvements to avoid conflicting with the convention that the current attribute's name is in parethesis:
  1. the name of the line to select will be "xxx Line x" instead of "xxx (x)"
  2. the name of the submesh will be "Submesh of xxx" instead of "xxx (subset)"
