Improvements:
1. For Tools > Calculator... and a selected 2D T3 mesh object
- The default selected combo box value is now the object's currently selected attribute
- The new multi-frame result can now be either 4-byte or 8-byte on disk
- The attribute value for the result in the new multi-frame result can now be integer, 4-byte or 8-byte in memory
- The 2D T3 calculator will now copy the result back to the new multi-frame object's attribute much faster (when it is a double attribute)
- NOTE: the best performance will likely be obtained with 8-byte float on disk and in memory
2. Allow the value of an invalid start date coming from a SLF file header to change to something that is valid
- A new query dialog will be displayed
- See: https://www.opentelemac.org/index.php/kunena/blue-kenue/14803-bk-3-12-20-beta#45191
3. Display more text in a popup for both the first column and the popup as a whole
4. Improved progress message when an invalid start date is encountered in a SLF file header and a load WARNING is present
Bug fixes:
1. Tools > Calculator... not working for multi-frame 2D T3 Meshes
2. Edit > Select Item... not working for 2D T3 Meshes
3. 2D T3 Scalar not correctly written to a BINARY file
4. A temporal object should also check the start time during activation
5. Remove previously added "Not Required" string for temporal attributes that do not require a deltaT
- Leave as original behaviour of returning "Variable"
- Perhaps reconsider this improvement again in the future
6. Remove previously added double precision file default and moved to respective subclasses
- Hard to test the full impact of this change
7. Only set a distribution's X units if they are not empty in order to avoid overwriting the possibly already existing units
8. Ensure that an XY Data Object has the Y attribute selected by default
- And therefore, by inheritance, a Distribution object too
9. Fixed a few small bugs in operations on time series; including:
- All Observations > Sample Histogram
- All Observations > Empirical Histogram
- All Observations > Duration Curve
- All Observations > Linear Fit Series - added 3 pieces of missing metadata
1. "Y-intercept"
2. "Slope"
3. "R"
10. Edit > Select Item... now working again
Internal changes:
1. Added improved handling for the case when a 2D object does not have a Z attribute
- min/max/range and Z scale
2. Added additional data checks when:
1. drawing a cartesian grid in a 2D View
2. computing min/max X and Y in a 2D Extent
3. growing a 2D Extent to cover a particular X or Y value
3. Add checking code for when a node cannot be retrieved when drawing a T3 2D scalar mesh
4. Added some more runtime messages when in debugging mode to help more quickly track down invalid situations
5. Call SetDeltaTIsRequired(.) when scanning Selafin 2D Scalar/Vector and 3D Scalar/Vector files
6. Only call IsNoDataValueAt(.) when IsNoDataValueEnabled() is true

The next beta installer will, as always, include the reference manual
However, the next manual will have a new section entitled "Troubleshooting" with one entry. If you would like to contribute your Blue Kenue trouble shooting ideas then please share them... and I'll add those that are generally useful for everyone. thanks!
