Hi I am now practicing the steps with other shapfile that can be imported in BlueKenue correctly. But I have a new problem when trying to create a new T3 mesh.
I got errors "No closed lines suitable to serve as a mesh outline found". And I have checked the properties , making sure that the line is closed. I have attached my shapfile and screenshots in the attachment.

Could you please also look into it when you are available?

Thank you so much!

Kai

I moved your post after #45811 to start a new thread because your post is a new topic.

Thank you for reporting this. However, I do not have enough to replicate what you are doing. Please share a fully working set of example files and the steps you are using. This way, I will be able to follow along and either see where the fault lies (if I can replicate it) or let you know what to change in your steps.

Kindly... Alan

Hi,

The shapefile you attached is a set of points and not a closed line.

It's hard to tell what you have done because the mesher window is obscuring the workspace contents.
Did you drag the closed line (selected in your second image) onto the mesh outline?

Alan,

To reproduce this behaviour.

1. Create a new Mesher.
2. Select the outline object
3. <right-click> Add Closed Line
4. create a simple polygon (3 vertices is sufficient)
5. Push the Mesher Run button.

The error will reveal itself...

I would say that the more questions you ask then the better Blue Kenue (and its documentation) will become. Keep asking! B)

Thank you so much for your time and effort!

But I have a basic question here, I went to the post page, but it seems there's no downloading link?

Go to the Blue Kenue forum section. Look at the top. There are a number of yellow topics "stuck" at the top. One of those is titled: "How to DOWNLOAD the latest Blue Kenue and report bugs and suggestions". Read it :silly:
