Hey

I have tried to import the tif file in the attachment in BlueKenue, and when I draged it to the 2D view, an error notification "No data" came up as the pic shows.

Could you please help me fix the problem?

Best Regards

Did Blue Kenue show you the following dialog box while loading your tif file? If not then that's a problem.

However, if you did get that message, then you'll have to create a tif file conforming to those specifications and then Blue Kenue will be able to import it.

The object in your workspace is empty because the data was not loaded (as per the dialog message).

The object is there (even though it is empty) because the properties of the object are available so that you can see what your tif file's properties are (after you've closed the dialog box).

Hey I didn't get the dialog box you showed in the post, so the problem is my original tif file(which is empty), not Bluekenue?

Best :)

Please re-read my posts. I did not write that your tif file is empty; I wrote that you need to convert your tif file to a tif file that Blue Kenue can import because Blue Kenue cannot (currently) import all possible tif files.

After you convert your tif file (respecting the requirements) then try importing that converted file and let us know if it works (or not).

Hey

Thank you for the detailed explaination, could you please specify which kind of .tif file is applicable for BlueKenue? For example, do I need to convert it to .shp file first?

You're very welcome.

I decided to investigate your tif file a little more and I opened it up with an image program. Your tif file looks like it is empty. Is that your intent? Did you create this tif file?

Also, as I wrote in post #45905, for Blue Kenue to be able to open your tif file, the tif file needs to have at most 24 bits per sample and yours, it seems, has 32 bits per sample.

Happy Holidays!
