Hi All,

Can the sediment concentration be displayed in PSED simulation in BlueKenue?

Thank you

Hi Gao,

At present concentration is not computed for PSed output.
However, the source code is available on CHyMS so you can
give it a go.

Hope this helps... Martin

Thank you again Martin,
Is there a way to save the current to a multiframe ASCII format.t3v?
Using save as only have the Binary format for multiframe.

Regards

Have you tried saving as a multiframe BINARY file AND THEN loading that file into Blue Kenue AND THEN using File > Save As? I see lots of possibilities...

Good luck

Thank you Alan.
It is not working. I saw something in the manual, saying that time various .t3v can only be in Binary. But the PSED seems only accept ASCCII for currents file, got error for Binary currents files.
Any one has any ideas on this?

Gao

Looking at the PSed5 source code... I see the following function:
bool readBinaryCurrent(RUN *run)

So... that tells me that BINARY files ARE supported. However, you will have to save the BINARY file as a 4 byte float NOT an 8 byte float BINARY file.

Did you use a 4 byte float BINARY file and PSed5 still didn't open your file?

Kindly... Alan

Thank you Alan,

Saved as .t3v from .slf file in BlueKenue, it does not say 4 or 8 byte. Is there any way I can check it is 4 or 8 byte?

First, which version of Blue Kenue are you using? I'm using BK 3.12.29 - beta and I see the following Save Copy As... choices for a t3s. They are similar for a t3v.
