I'm new on Telemac and trying to generate a mesh from a point set with BlueKenue.

I would like to make a regular mesh (at least as regular as possible) with the attribution of elevation for each point. The problem is that I don't manage to attribute elevation to the new mesh even if I put the same point set as "density".

But if I put the point set as density, the partition of my new mesh depend on the elevation values ...

Is there any other way to attribute elevation to a new mesh ?

Meshing and applying bathymetry are 2 separate operations.

Once you have generated the mesh:
1. Create a new Interpolation object "File->New->2D Interpolator"
2. Drag your bathmetric points onto the newInterpolator2D object
3. Select the mesh in the WorkSpace and using "Tools->MapObject" map the elevations from the interpolator object to the mesh.
(you will be prompted for a new attribute name)
4. Create the new Selafin object "File->New->SELAFIN Object"
5. Add the bethymetric mesh to the newSelafin object. <right-click> on the newSelafin object to show the context menu and select "Add Variable"
6. On the dialog that pops up, enable the "Copy Node Values from Source" option and choose the new attribute you created from the interpolator.
