open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

Dear all,
I am trying to develop finite element grid for the "Bay of Bengal" region for simulating tides using ADCIRC model. I am using Blue Kenue for grid generation. I have some doubts on the grid development.

1) Is there any specific criteria for the development of grid? Specifically what are the factors that one has to be cautious while developing a finite element grid in Blue Kenue?

2) Is there any specific criteria for limiting the number of elements in a computational node of the finite element grid? If so, is there any option in Blue Kenue to check this?

3) Can anyone suggest some good papers on grid development using Blue Kenue.

Since I am a beginner both in Blue Kenue and ADCIRC, I would be so grateful if somebody can give me some advice and useful tips. If anybody has used ADCIRC and grid is developed using Blue Kenue, please provide me some advice on this.

For Blue Kenue use, please use the user manual that you find here.
For ADCIRC, it is a code which does the same job than Telemac. Therefore, you can't ask for help on its use on the Telemac forum.

As Riadh mentioned, this is a question to be asked on the ADCIRC discussion list.

For hints and tips, refer to the integrated Blue Kenue reference manual "Help->Reference Manual..."

As for question #2,
"Edit->T3 Mesh->Analyse Mesh" generates some mesh statistics including the number of neighbouring elements. There is however, no explicit parameter that controls this. In general the strategy of the algorithm is to generate equilateral triangles (where each node has 6 neighbours). To help the mesher achieve this, you should specify density criteria that has relatively smooth transitions.
