Hi,

The problem is with the channel mesh.
The channel mesher cannot cope with very abrupt changes in channel width or
concave banks as seen here:



You need to modify the banks as seen here:



OR use the general purpose mesher to generate the channel.

thank you so much for your availability. I have followed your suggestion, considering just a short part of my domain: unfortunately, the problem remains the same. Do you know other ways to solve my problem? What is the general purpose mesher?

I have tried to use UTM coordinates -as you said last week- and now it works! The areas are not still equal to 0. Thank you for you support :)
