I am a new TELEMAC user and I would ask for the help of the experienced users regarding a problem I have encountered using FUDAA.

I have downloaded the sources and followed the python installation procedure, as it is recommended for new users with no scripting language experience. At the moment I am focused on the Artemis model. I have succesfully managed to launch a computation from a DOS prompt, but everytime I try to launch any cas file from FUDAA, I get the following error in a popup window:

Windows cannot find 'artemis.bat'

I have added the path to pytel subfolder to my user PATH Environmental variable and I have tried to direct FUDAA to the 'pytel' subfolder, but it will not accept it. It will only accept the bin subfolder which contains the PERL scripts (bin). How can I direct FUDAA to the pytel subfolder?

When the ability for Fudaa to launch telemac computation was developped, only the perl solution was available. So in the configuration of Fudaa, there is a restriction to the .bat launching program which is no compatible with python scripts

So you should run the simulation directly from DOS.

Hi, I tried again to set it up with the python scripts (with the latest version 1.2.0) and it is still looking for PERL. So I am afraid we have to wait a bit more. You just have to do the final step manually using the command prompt.

If you download the latest version of fudaa from
sourceforge.net/projects/fudaa/files/prepro/
the problem is solved.

The one I had downloaded was from prepro.fudaa.fr and it is not the latest version.
