Hi everybody,

I have 3 problems with Fudaa-Prepro:

1st: I downloaded and install the TELEMAC automatic installer with Python. when I try to set a model run with a telemac3d project, it comes up with an error indicating "'perl' is not recognized."

How can I use python rather perl with Fudaa ? I must use perf ?

2de: I can not open 2d view with a teleac3d project (nothing happen when I clic) while it works very well with a telemac2d project.

2de: When I start a telemac2d new project with a selafin geometry file, I immediately have an error with my result file. I can enter and edit the 2d view but but impossible to execute a model run.

Any help with these will be much appreciated.

Thanking you in advance.

Valentin

Hi Valentin,

Regarding your 1st question, you can download the latest version of fudaa from sourceforge:

Fudaa-Prepro-1.2RC22.jar

This version supports executing python scripts. Maybe it addresses your other problems as well.

Costas

Hi Costas,

Thank you for your reply.

I downloaded the latest version and it's exactly the same. I have to parametrize something?

Hi Valentin,

If you go to Edition->Preferences, expand 'Modelling system', choose 'Telemac' and add the path to the 'pytel' folder of your telemac installation.

For me, version 1.2 did not accept the pytel folder and produced an error. Version 1.2RC22 accepts it and when I execute a computation within fudaa, it runs on a separate Python command window. Of course, PATH environmental variables should be set accordingly.

I hope it helps,
Costas

Hi Costas,

It's working, thank you very much.

But the other problems remains.. Nothing happens when I click on the 2d edition with a telemac3d project so I can do anything :/

I don't know much about pre and post-processing with fudaa. I use Blue Kenue for that and fudaa for steering file setup and execution.

If you don't find a solution, maybe give Blue Kenue a try.
