open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

I am running a model with two branches (hence a confluence), and I am running into some problems regarding the events I pass. Actually Mascaret passes most of my selected events, however, there is always a loss of discharge of the order of 100-250 m3/s on the output hydrograph - with respect to the measured data. Further, in three of the 14 events it gives me a particular error that I have attached in this message. I presumed that due to the irregularities in my model - abrupt variation of the slope and width of the channel, the drop structures and etc - Mascaret wants me to run it under the transcritical kernel. I have tried doing so, but the model crashes and the listing file does not give me any clue on what has happened - it shows an incomplete file. This error indicates that your upstream boundary condition (where you impose Q) is, for those specific event, in a supercritical flow. Then you should also impose a water level for those conditions.
