I know that the software can model the Old Rhine between Breisach and Kembs during low water (30 m3 / s). Can the software model some rivers during high water (more than 300 m3 / s)? Have you did this work ?

For example, In France it exists some models of river Loire, Seine, Rhone and Gironde (Estuary).
Length vary between few kilometers up to 600 km and maybe more...
You could use Telemac to simulate flood on yellow river without any problem

Most important point is on the topographic and bathymetric data required to build a good mesh

2. If I want to simulate sediment transport ,can I only use MASCARET? In other words,is sediment model available in Fudaa-Mascaret?

Yes you could use Mascaret to simulate flood.
The is no sediment transport module in Mascaret for the moment. The module exist but it needs to be updated before delivery and this is an ongoing work
