Hello,
Actually, there are two ways for post-processing Telemac results in
Tecplot 360:
- by
converting Telemac results file (selafin) to an ASCII file readable by Tecplot. We can provide a Fortran program but we don't use it anymore.
- by compiling/installing the
Telemac Data Loader in Tecplot. Sources are already in your release, see for instance:
.../bin/AddOns/Tedcplot_AddOns/seralo.
On which platform are you using Telemac?
-
On Linux: A procedure has been given in the installation note. Please also refer to the Tecplot manual (see below).
-
On Windows : Tricky... Colleagues at BAW are able to use the same data loader on Windows. According to Tecplot, the Intel compiler is mandatory for compiling/installing any data loader. Otherwise, I may send you their binaries.
In both cases, you should refer to in Tecplot ADK manual : download.tecplot.com/360/2011/adkum.pdf
For those who may be interested in, I should mention that Tecplot allows a trial version of Tecplot 360.
I will also publish the Telemac Data Loader on The Tecplot website. And if there are enough users, it may be included a future release.
