open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

I needed to extract data from the HYCOM global model to provide temperature and salinity boundary conditions for my model domain. I have used the python script convertHYCOM.py have successfully extracted the results.

Next I've used the script convertToBND.py to create the binary liquid boundary file, and have assumed it has correctly run. I've included to the boundary file using the keyword: BINARY BOUNDARY DATA FILE. The model runs in scalar, but I get the following error when run in parallel:

Partel is compiled with all the necessary parts, so I don't believe its the later part of the error message.

So my question is: is there something extra, like a modification to a fortran script, required to work in parallel or is it a problem with my boundary file?

Also, the hycom data has 33 levels, where as my model domain is only 5, will telemac interpolate the 33 layers onto the 5 or does the boundary file need to have only 5 layers as well?
