Hello telUsers
Can you send me any tips to extract a subset from selafin result by mean of closed polygon.
I know how to extract a submesh but this but how to keep the real node number after in bluekenue and how to transform the submesh to selafin file.
Make sure that any kind of help will be appreciated.
Regards
Mourad

Hi
If I understand well your request, you couldn't keep the node number of the global mesh in a submesh because node numbering was done from 1 to NPOIN and NPOIN in the submesh is necessarily lower than in the global mesh...
Nevertheless, to transform a submesh into a selafin file, you just have to create a new selafin object and just drag and drop the submesh in it...

Christophe

Thank you Mr Coulet, yes from 1 to NPOIN I can't keep the real node's numbers,
I will use the coordinates of the mesh nodes to obtain the global nodes numbers though.
Thanks again for your tips to transform submesh to selafin file
