Hi all
For some reason I can't get my completed runs to merge.
The run completes normally and the mpi processes call a stop but the gretel process stalls with an error upon call of OPEN_MESH_SRF.
The merge was working earlier but something has caused the fault.
Can you suggest what's wrong?

attached partel and gretel logs and the mesh.slf.

yugi OFFLINE openTELEMAC Guru Posts: 851 Thank you received: 244	Hi, Have a look at the T3DRST files in your temporary folder. I am guessing that it is empty hence the error.

olslewfoot OFFLINE Senior Boarder Posts: 132 Thank you received: 3	Yes - you are right! All empty so the T3DRST varariables are not saving.All other T3D files are populated for each partition? These were saving previously so I have changed something. Have attached steering file. John

yugi OFFLINE openTELEMAC Guru Posts: 851 Thank you received: 244	I think i see the issue. You must have changed RESTART MODE to NO. But because you still have the RESTART FILE key the python tries to merge it. Try commenting RESTART FILE taht should do the trick.

Ok - sorted!
For info;
I hadn't put enough meteorological variable headings in a new ascii atmospheric met file I'm using, when previously they were supplied in a time varying slf file. The headings for all met variables need to be in the ASCII file:
T windU windV Tair Patm Rh Nebu Precip Evap

With out them the model still compiles and runs but the T3DRST files are not populated and then Gretel fails.
