Senior scientists position at HR Wallingford

HR Wallingford is looking to recruit senior scientists for their coasts and estuaries group. The post involves use and development of the TELEMAC-MASCARET modelling suite.
The successful candidate will possess elements of the following:
- good first degree in a relevant scientific subject
- a higher degree (Masters or PhD) in a field related to numerical modelling of sediment transport in the marine environment
- a comprehensive knowledge of cohesive and/or non-cohesive sediment transport processes
- a thorough understanding of marine data (measurements and analysis)
- experience in using the TELEMAC-MASCARET modelling suite
- proven technical knowledge through publications in peer-reviewed journals and conference presentations
- experience in delivery of consultancy work
- programming skills (especially FORTRAN, but also MATLAB, Python)
- good reporting skills
