Hello everyone :

I'm carrying a project very important for my future and I need really quick TELEMAC.
I downloaded the file ubuntu_v6p1_revision828.tar on the topic "binaires". But actually this files is just a 952bytes file. It's really extrange and when i try to untar it i can't by anyway i can't. I tried the commands gunzip gzip -d tar.... etc.
It always return "not in gzip format"
Then I try to do the command "vi telemac...."
and it return me that :

And I see the 952 bytes correspond to the 952 characters...

It's like it was a link.
I do not understand. What could I do?

Please help me I really need to install TELEMAC as qhuick as I can.

Hi
As you could see in the download page, the size is OK. But you could also try to use SVN to download the source file of TELEMAC System.
Try to just use the command: tar -xvf ubuntu_v6p1_revision828.tar and it should probaly works

the command tar -xvf ubutnu_... does not work. As I said it returns always "not in gzip format"
If you see inside the file you have just characters and on those characters you have "source 404" like if it was a link but that does not work.

here it is what i can see inside the file .tar of 952bytes and think it's source of any information (i put it on red) :

I don't understand what's this binary file.
I cannot untar (commands does not work) it and i cannot open it. just with gedit to see what is inside and i do not understand what it is.

I really need to install TELEMAC please how could i do!

Thanks for pointing this out, the file on the server appears to have been corrupted. This should now be corrected.

Please can you try downloading again and let us know if there still is an issue?

As Christophe mentionned, in the future the best way is to use SVN, this way you are certain to get the most up to date version.

i didn't take the svn because i already pain to install it correctly so to go and take the source i think it's impossible for me.
