Hello

I am using telemac to simulate the circulation in some area of Mexico. However I have a questions regarding to the coriolis force. How can I Identified the variation of the coriolis force along my domain area?
Did I set up correctly the coriolis force in my steering file?

Thank you

Hello,

The only way would consist in comparing with measurements and control that it works better with the Coriolis force...

You may have important differences between a computation with and without Coriolis, especially if there are amphidromic points in your domain.

Dear Jean

Thank you very much for your response. I asked you about it because I am not sure whether I need to include another command line in my steering file that include the variation on space or time of the coriolis force. Did I do correctly?

Thank you

Joel

Hello,

I see no obvious mistake. At least you seem to have a nice amphidromic point in your results, which is a clear effect of Coriolis, and probably something that is well known off your coast and that could validate your run.
