What should I do to sort it out this issue?

What version of Telemac are you using ?

I am using telemac V6p3. With regards to your question, your recommendations did not work. I will sent you shortly the steering file and the geo file so you can see clearly my problem.

Attached you see the files of my simulation. I have added the recommendation of the previous answers from you. However It did not work correctly.

SPHERICAL COORDINATES = YES
SPATIAL PROJECTION TYPE = 2
GEOGRAPHIC SYSTEM = 5
ZONE NUMBER IN GEOGRAPHIC SYSTEM = 12

I tried with your cartesian files with V7P1 and it works well. However I can not localize it with US map. If you want I will send you the result file and then you can verify by yourself.
I need your file with lat/long coordinate to verify this option.
I will try to attach the result file here otherwise please send my you mail.

Here is the file

Attached you can see my lat lon files. I converted them to Mercator projection using the following matlab lines-code.


%% convert to Mercator projection

R_earth=6371000.;

X=A*pi*R_earth/180;

Y=R_earth*log(tan(((B*pi/180)+pi/2)/2));


On the other hand, I ran same simulation as you did previously and I have got the same message.

EXCEEDING MAXIMUM ITERATIONS: 100 RELATIVE PRECISION: 0.9

Did you change something in the steering file?
