open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

I am planning to run Telemac2d and Tomawac applied to the Arctic area. I was wondering if anyone here has already run the model in a polar region.
Are these models able to compute any physics of ice-ocean interactions, specially those regarding wave-ice interactions?

Ice problem is a subject of interest for the Telemac-Mascaret Consortium but for the moment, there is no modules in the system which deals with ice.
If you plan to work on this subject, the consortium will be happy to try to help you on the development part.

We are starting a development about the transport of frazil using Telemac. These development will hopefully be finished and integrated to version v7p3 (late 2017). These features are very close to what you need with ice transport and interaction, so please keep us aware about your progress.

I would be intrested to experiment with ice coverage for tomawac myself, was there any progress made by the developing team, because I was considering trying to implement something myself.Is it still expected to be shipped with v7p3?
