Hi everyone!

I'm looking for a way to export the maximum velocity and the corresponding flow direction. Is this possible? For now I only know how to export the maximum velocity.

I would like to visualize the maximum velocity and corresponding direction as arrows in ArcMap. It's an easy task if I have a raster describing the max velocity and one describing the corresponding direction in degrees.

Any suggestions? :)

In my opinion, your question is more related to post-processing...

Anyway, I think there is no automatic solution for the moment.
It's not really complex to develop in my opinion if you compute the temporal maximum of velocity but store the X- and Y- components instead of the scalar velocity

I will put this in our todo list port the posttelemac plugin

I forgot some of our last development in the plugin!
In fact it's already done so if you use it, in the tools tab you could compute the maximum velocity and create result file of maximums in which you will find all variables and in addition, the intensity and direction...
