Hello
In the last week I have struggled with the variation of the Bottom friction coefficient. I have draw the polygons in Blue Kenue where I want to modified the coefficient.(attached Blue kenue screenshot) However, the results seems totally out of range.

I was wondering how can I create a file to determine a specific value of friction in every single point of the mesh as I show in the attached photo.(named: What I want to do)

My bathymetry data vary significantly along all my domain area, that's why I want to create a bottom coefficient point variation for every point of my mesh.

Thank you
Joel

Hello Joel

I did not catch what you want to do exactly.
Your first figure shows that you are able to introduce friction area using blue Kenue. If you want to do as you you have done in your your second figure, you need only to draw areas (with closed lines) in a more refined way.

I hope that this helps
