I was wondering how the friction coefficient is defined for Telemac...

I understand it is necessary to define the LAW OF BOTTOM FRICTION and choose the relevant law (chezy/manning/etc) that you want.
But then when you define the FRICTION COEFFICIENT value, what is it that you define?

For example if I am using the chezy law which states that Cd = g/(C^2), do I put the value of the chezy coefficient (C) in or do I put the corresponding friction coefficient (Cd)?

Many thanks.

Hello,

The friction coefficient value depends on the law, hence the unit is variable. So with Chézy law you give the Chézy coefficient, and so on...
