I try to set up a simulation but after allocation the files the simulation doesn't start. The error messages even in scalar mode don't help me. Maybe one of you can tell me where to search for. I attached my files.

thank you for your answer. I found out that my case is runnning as soon as I dont have islands in my mesh. I generate my mesh using blue kenue (islands - soft lines). I attached my files without the slf files.

Slf files are still to big (3MB)

Hi,

I might do something else if i could see the geometry file. However, if you are using a hostart as a previous computation file it is not necessary to indicate initial conditions, ohterwise, if you are prescribing elevations such as 966m, i advise to use a initial condition wich be consecuent with that value (as 966m of depth).

Also, with FV method is not necessary to indicate several keywords you have in your steering file, take a look at the manual.

Not sure whether it helps you to solve your problem or not, but take them as suggestions. If does not, maybe another one could help you more.

Hello Engelbert,

Just a reminder: If you add island to your mesh, then you need to recreate the boundary conditions file (.cli) because node numbering changes even though the boundaries are the same.

thank you for your suggestions. It was no matter of initial conditions or boundary conditions. It was a matter of meshing. I got a mesh with duplicated mesh elements (two above each other). I don't know how come, but it was an output from the mesh generator in blue kenue. Accidental i found the duplicated elements and deleted them, and the simulation is running fine now.
